About Frank
I graduated 208 out of 214 in my High School class, with a D+ average. I wasn’t supposed to go to college, but when they gave me a soccer scholarship, I took advantage of Mitchell College’s generosity. Then a funny thing happened: I fell in love with learning and forgot about sports. Eventually I earned an MBA, a Master’s Degree in Holistic Counseling, and a Ph.D. in Psychology.
A passion for learning, a love of reading, and a willingness to experiment and change have characterized my life. Over the years I’ve become a decent sailor, become certified for scuba diving, and earned a pilot’s single engine VFR rating to fly airplanes. I’ve learned how to play the guitar, piano, and violin (rather poorly) and I’ve published several books. To finance all of this I became an entrepreneur at a rather early age. I started around a dozen companies, most of which failed, but it only takes one to succeed and pay the bills.
Along the way I’ve been taught by some wonderful teachers, speakers, and books. My first-year college English professor, a Quaker, inspired me to explore life beyond the mere physical dimension. At a time of crisis in my life, I discovered the Course in Miracles. Then, while doing post graduate work the writings of philosopher and Integral Theory proponent Ken Wilber, took me to another level. Lately, Eckhart Tolle and Oprah have been my teachers through his book and their webcast A New Earth.
Being of service to others and becoming more conscious and more aware in recent years have given my life more meaning, more happiness, more joy, than I ever imagined possible. I’d like to share what I have learned with you.
